Michael J. Baran, 99, died March 10, 2022. Born and raised in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late John Baran and Barbara (Sopko) Baran. He was the husband of the late Margaret (Cook) Baran.

He was an U.S. Navy World War II veteran.

He was a long-time employee of Ford Motor Company.

He is survived by three children, Michael (late wife Shirley), Patrick (Pattianne) and Maureen (Jim Normile); two grandchildren, Timothy Ryan and Michelle Margaret (Luke Dantz); uncle and great-uncle of many; He was predeceased by a daughter, Michelle; and 12 brothers and sisters.
