IMAGE RECOVERY PROGRAM: The CancerSupport Community of the Greater Lehigh Valley bi-monthly Image Recovery Program, sponsored by the Ryan Family Foundation. The program is designed to help people improve their body image and sense of self during and after cancer therapy. Topics: one-on-one support in nutrition; fitness; post-surgical garment services; psychosocial support; and education focused on oral hygiene, skin care, hair care, holistic practices and other areas.

POOL STAFF NEEDED: Are you at least 16 years old? Do you want to have a great summer? Become a member of the City of Bethlehem pool staff. Apply to be a lifeguard ($12 per hour) or pool cashier ($10 per hour) at one of the city’s five city pools. No lifeguard certification necessary. BUSINESS LEADER BREAKFAST: Kolbe Academy will hold its annual Business Leaders Breakfast from 7 to 9 a.m. May 6 at DeSales University in the University Center. The event brings together business and community leaders to support the Lehigh Valley’s first and only recovery high school. Kolbe Academy, the nation’s first and only Catholic, faith-based Recovery High School, works with high school teens who are in recovery from substance use disorder (SUD.

Ashley Russo is this year’s keynote speaker. She is president of ASR Media Productions, a three-time Emmy award-winning executive producer and host of The PEAK TV and St. Luke’s HealthNow. 2021 graduate Joe Skrip who will speak about his battle with addiction and his recovery journey.
