Stephen “Doc” M. Sabol, 85, of Emmaus (Hunktown), died March 10, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. He was the husband of the late Shirley A. (Scherer) Sabol, who died in 2008. Born in East Texas, he was the son of the late Stephen M. and Anna C. (Miknius) Sabol.

He was a graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School and was employed by Boise Cascade, East Greenville, for over 30 years.

He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, Emmaus.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing and going to the casino with his family.

He is survived by children, Thomas, Donna, Kathleen, Dianna and Jennifer; grandchildren, Joshua, Ashley, Aaron, Payton, Remy, Madison, and Nicholas; sisters, Cecelia Hollingsworth and Doris Toth; a brother, William. He was predeceased by a son, Michael and a sister, Constance Druckenmiller.

Services will be held 10:30 a.m. March 21 at the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus. A viewing will be held 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. March 21 in the funeral home.
