E. Albert “Piffy” Boyer Jr., 89, died March 8, 2022. He was the husband of Carol (Schuessler) Boyer for 33 years.
Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late E. Albert Sr. and Dora (Newhart) Boyer.
He was a 1951 Northampton High School graduate where he was a football manager for Al Erdosy and a basketball manager for Peter Schneider. He attended Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, N.Y.
He was in the U.S. Air Force and was in Korea for four years.
He worked in the advertising department photo lab at Bethlehem Steel. He worked for other photo labs and was earlier a wedding photographer.
He was a 32nd degree Mason.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, E. Albert III of Easton and Scott with Lucy of Laurys Station; two granddaughters, Avery and Michaela Boyer; a sister, Joanne with Donald Christman of Midlothian, Va.; a brother, Tom with Diane of Wilmington, N.C.; a sister-in-law, Leone with Murray Stewart of Toledo, Ohio; nieces; nephews; great-nieces; great-nephews; cousins; and friends.
