AIDSNET, Bethlehem, needs community members and professionals (lawyer, CPA, clergy, physician, etc.) who live in Berks, Carbon, Lehigh, Monroe, Northampton or Schuylkill counties to join their board of directors and help oversee their organization’s mission of building healthier communities by planning and funding HIV/AIDS care and prevention services in those six counties. ANTINANCO EARTH ARTS SCHOOL invites all volunteers (minimum age 14) to provide tree care for the American Chestnut trees planted at Columcille Megalith Park in Bangor, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 13. Volunteers will provide tree care, install tree shelters and stakes and visit the park’s treasured and sacred spots. Work gloves and tools will be provided. K-9 KOP PROJECT needs a virtual volunteer to be its social media assistant. LEHIGH VALLEY HOSPICE seeks adult volunteers who are comfortable spending time with people at the end of life and who are interested in doing something very meaningful that will have a profound impact on someone’s life and their family’s lives. RIPPLE COMMUNITY, Allentown, is looking for volunteers to help refresh their space and ensure all who enter the doors feel welcome 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. April 4. Help them deep clean the inside of the community center and give the outside of the building a face-lift using a power washer and picking up trash around the perimeter of the property.
