Salisbury Elementary School will host a family STEM night March 14

Did you get your tickets to “RENT: School Edition” yet? I got mine!

Salisbury High School Theatre will perform the musical 7 p.m. March 10-12 and 2 p.m. March 13.

Tickets can be purchased at the door or from the link www.salisburysd.hometownticketing.com/embed/all. For questions, call Cherie Pennella at 610-797-4107, extension 2508 or email salisburytheatre@salisburysd.org.

Salisbury Township schools will be closed for a teacher professional day March 11.

Salisbury Elementary School is holding a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) night.

There will be stations in the school for you to visit and learn new activities with your kindergarten through fourth grade students.

Then they send you home with the supplies to continue the fun at home. Doors open 5:45 p.m. and the event runs 6-7 p.m. March 14, which appropriately is Albert Einstein’s birthday!

Pizza and hot dogs will be available and the PTO will have desserts and basket raffles.

An email was sent to parents from Principal Zach Brem on March 1 with a link to register. There also is a link on the SES PTO Facebook page. Registration is required to make sure there is food and supplies for all attendees.

March 21 is class picture day at SES. Smile!

It looks like the SHS College Information night is moved to 6:30-8 p.m. March 22. If you have a student looking at colleges, this is a great resource.

The next T-shirt day at SES is March 25. Show your Falcon Pride.

There is a school board meeting 7:30 p.m. March 16 at the administration building.

“It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge.” Albert Einstein
