Salisbury Township Fire Marshal Donald Sabo, a sergeant with the Salisbury Police Department, said, “There were working smoke detectors at the home. After an autopsy was performed in February, and following our investigation, Knotts' death has been classified as an accident. The origin of the fire was in the kitchen due to cooking on the stove.”
