To Global Citizens Club members: meetings will be held on the next two consecutive Thursdays, March 10 and 17. Check the club’s Schoology page for details and updates.
The Interact Club is collecting new and used shoes through March 16 for local 3-year-old Aria, who suffers from seizures and hypotonia. Donations will fund a seizure alert dog for her family and shoes can be left in the boxes outside Room 313 or Room 524.
In addition, the Interact Club is collecting craft supplies through March 17 to benefit the nursing facility at Lehigh Center. Supplies may also include large-print coloring books, word searches and crossword puzzles. Drop donations off outside Room 524.
The Stinger, Emmaus High School’s award-winning newspaper, is accepting staff applications for the 2022-2023 school year. Any students looking to serve the community through writing, photography, art, editing and technology should consider applying. No previous journalism experience is required. Pick up application forms outside Room 559 or print from The Stinger’s Schoology course. All applications are due March 17 and should be submitted to Ms. Reaman (Room 559).
The Stinger is also looking for support in visiting the National High School Journalism Convention in Los Angeles, Calif., planned for April 7-9. If you are interested in donating to trip funds, visit @stingerehs on Instagram, where their GoFundMe page is linked.
