Northampton: Ukrainian church holding sales
Assumption of the Virgin Mary Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 1301 Newport Ave., is selling pierogies March 17 and 31 and April 14 and 28. Proceeds from these sales will be donated to help Ukraine.
Place orders with Helen by calling 610-261-4575 no later than the Sunday before.
The church is also holding a nut roll sale. Choose from apple, apricot, lekvar, nut, poppy seed, red raspberry, pumpkin cheese and coconut cream.
Orders must be placed by March 25. Call Marty at 610-682-4458.
Orders can be picked up 10 a.m.-noon April 9 at the church.

Northampton Area Food Bank’s upcoming food distribution dates are scheduled 5-7 p.m. March 10 and 17 and 9:30-11:30 a.m. March 12 and 19.
The food bank is also open 9:30-11:45 a.m. every Wednesday for registration, inquiries, donation drop-offs and produce pickup.
Bring a picture ID with a current address or ID and a bill with the correct address. You should reside in Northampton Area School District. You will need names and birth dates of everyone living with you full time.

Grace United Church of Christ, 902 Lincoln Ave., will be holding Lenten crabcake dinners 4:30-6:30 p.m. March 11, 18 and 25 in fellowship hall. Chicken fingers are also available for adults and children.
No preorders are necessary. The event is dine in or take out.
Grace UCC is also selling Easter candy by the half and full pound.
Orders are due by March 25, and pickup is set for 10 a.m.-1 p.m. April 9.

Tri-Boro Sportsmen Club, 2110 Canal St., will be holding a fishermen’s night, set for 6:30-10 p.m. March 25. A total of 30 prizes, including fishing poles, fly fishing kits, tackle boxes and more will be available.
Refreshments are included in the cost.

Holy Trinity Nursery School, 1235 Main St., is currently registering for the 2022-23 school year.
The 2-year-old playgroup class will meet 9:30-11 a.m. Mondays and Wednesdays. Class size is limited to 12 children, and they do not need to be toilet trained.
The 3-year-old class meets 9-11:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. Class size is limited to 16 children, and they need to be toilet trained.
The 4-year-old class meets 12:15-2:45 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Class size is limited to 16 children, and they need to be toilet trained.
Children must turn the appropriate age for the class by Sept. 1.
