Mary A. Stubits, 100, of Whitehall, died March 1, 2022, in her residence. She was the wife of the late John Stubits.

Born in Eisenberg, Austria, she was a daughter of the late Felix and Pauline (Eberhardt) Weber.

She worked as a weaver for many years at various sewing mills in the area until she retired.

She was a lifelong member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Coplay, and belonged to the Altar and Rosary Society.

She is survived by a daughter, Inge and her husband Helmut Wachter of Austria; two grandchildren, Sabine Lacko and husband Alfons and Helmut Jr. and Martine; two great-grandchildren, Cora Wachter and Jenny and husband Philipp Seper; two great-great-grandchildren, Anna and Niklas Seper; and two nieces, Suzanne and husband Ron Rabenold and Rosemary Schlager.

She was predeceased by one sister; five brothers; and one nephew.
