Hofstra University

Apple earns dean’s list

Lexi Apple, of Northampton, excelled during the fall 2021 semester at Hofstra University, achieving a GPA of at least 3.5 to earn a spot on the dean’s list.

St. Mary’s College of Maryland

Kennedy named to dean’s list

Jack Kennedy, of Northampton, was awarded dean’s list honors for academic achievement during the fall 2021 semester at St. Mary’s College of Maryland, the National Public Honors College. Dean’s list honors are awarded to full-time students at St. Mary’s College who earn a semester GPA of 3.5 or better on 12 or more graded credits.

St. Mary’s College of Maryland, the National Public Honors College, is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education through 2024-25. St. Mary’s College is ranked one of the best public liberal arts schools in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. Approximately 1,600 students attend the college, nestled on the St. Mary’s River in Southern Maryland.

Dean’s list is announced

Wilkes University Provost David M. Ward announced the dean’s list for the fall 2021 semester. To be named to the dean’s list, students must obtain a minimum 3.5 GPA and carry at least 12 credits.

Students named to dean’s list

Susquehanna congratulates its students named to the dean’s list for the fall 2021 semester. The dean’s list recognizes students who achieve a GPA of 3.4 or higher out of a possible 4.0 for the semester.

Bath: Larisa Calvo, majoring in marketing and Spanish studies, is a member of the Class of 2022.

Catasauqua: Bradshaw Henning, majoring in physics, is a member of the Class of 2023.

Coplay: Kiara Bryant, majoring in strategic communications-advertising and marketing and creative writing, is a member of the Class of 2022.

Northampton: Zachary Hurlock, majoring in graphic design, is a member of the Class of 2023; Kaylee Kauffman, majoring in legal studies and psychology, is a member of the Class of 2023; Morgan Thomas, majoring in ecology and earth and environmental sciences, is a member of the Class of 2024.

Walnutport: Victoria Gardineer, majoring in biology, is a member of the Class of 2022.

Whitehall: Megan Herbine, majoring in mathematics and economics, is a member of the Class of 2022.

Halima Mbarack, of Whitehall, earned a Bachelor of Science in biology in December 2021.

Dutzer, Spohn earn dean’s list

James Madison University

Schmeckenbecher makes dean’s list

Graydon Schmeckenbecher, of Whitehall, has been named to the dean’s list at James Madison University for the fall 2021 semester. Students who earn dean’s list honors must carry at least 12 graded credit hours and earn a GPA of between 3.5 and 3.899. Schmeckenbecher is a political science major.

Lock Haven University

Traupman named to dean’s list

Hailey Traupman, of Northampton, was named to Lock Haven University’s fall 2021 dean’s list. Traupman was among more than 700 students named to the list. To receive this honor, students must earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher in at least 12 semester hours of course work in the fall 2021 semester.

Wittreich earns president’s list

Washburn University is pleased to announce its president’s list honorees for the fall 2021 semester. Shannon Wittreich, of Northampton, has earned this designation. To qualify for the president’s list, a student must complete at least 12 hours of graded credits and earn a semester GPA of 4.0. Almost 750 students qualified for the president’s list.
