Agnes A. Burda, 80, of Whitehall and formerly of Lower Macungie Township, died March 2, 2022. She was the wife of Joseph M. Burda for 59 years.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Stephanie (Yandrasits) Klucharich.

She was an Allentown Central Catholic High School graduate. She attended Gwynedd Mercy College and studied teaching and business administration.

She worked at Emerson Electric with the ladies in ATC, Alburtis. She worked at Prudential and then Aetna for nine years with perfect attendance and where she received several promotions.

She was a longtime member of St. Thomas More Church, Allentown, where she was in the women’s group and sang on the choir.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Sonia A. of Los Angeles, Calif., and Stephanie A. Allsup of West Chester, Ohio; two grandchildren, James D. Allsup and Trevor M. Allsup; nieces; and nephews.

She was predeceased by a sister, Marie Klusaritz.

There will be visitation 9-10 a.m. March 10 at the funeral home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay, followed by a Mass of Christian burial 10:30 a.m. at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, 4 S. Fifth St., Coplay.
