David “Dave” J. Rader, 70, of Bethlehem, died Feb. 25, 2022, in his home. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Raymond “Reds” J. and Elizabeth “Betty” J. (Berry) Rader. He was the husband of Mary (Roach) Rader for 52 years.

He was a 1969 graduate of Liberty HS.

He worked for Bethlehem Steel for most of his life until he retired.

He was a lifetime member of the F-3 Fishing Club, Bethlehem. He was an avid gardener.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, David J. Jr. and his wife Concetta DePaolo of Terre Haute, Indiana; a daughter, Jennifer Rader of Philadelphia; a brother, John M. Rader of Rockledge, Florida; and two grandchildren,Megan and Danny

He was predeceased by a sister, Sharon Abruzzese.
