Book sale

Press photo by Nate Jastrzemski Bethlehem Area Public Library's regular book sale is back indoors for 2022, but is still accommodating some public health features, such as limiting the number of shoppers at any time. It didn't stop the two-day sale held Feb. 7 and 9 from being a great success as residents and area fans of the library came to purchase used materials such as books, CD's, DVDs and records. The event brought the city's library $9,383. Above: David Constantine, who moved to the city about 17 years ago, peruses a book on the Battle of Pearl Harbor. Having come to about a half-dozen BAPL sales in recent years, he said, “They never had these in Philly.”
