FREE UKRAINE CALLS: Service Electric Cable TV and Communications have announced that they will offer free calling to and from the Ukraine for its residential phone service customers. Direct dial from the U.S. to Ukraine will be free for the first 200 minutes. In addition, Service Electric will be offering a ‘softphone’ mobile application allowing these customers unlimited, free communication with loved ones living in the Ukraine.
Service Electric customers are encouraged to contact the customer service center at 610-865-9100 to get details on direct dialing Ukraine and to receive instructions on setting up the mobile app for unlimited free calling.

DERBY WATCH PARTY: Spend the first Saturday in May partying at SteelStacks! ArtsQuest is proud to announce plans for a reimagined Kentucky Derby Watch Party, presented by Noble Oak, May 7. PARADE OF SHAMROCKS: The streets of Bethlehem turn green March 12 as thousands of emerald-clad revelers will sweep into Historic Bethlehem for the 12th annual Celtic Classic Parade of Shamrocks organized by the Celtic Cultural Alliance (CCA).
The parade begins at 1 p.m. at Fifth Avenue and West Broad Street and proceeds east on Broad Street, turns right on to Main Street and heads south on Main Street. The parade concludes under the Hill-to-Hill Bridge. This free event has plenty of viewing along the sidewalks of the procession route.
This year’s event will feature everything from pipe bands, Irish dancers, local school bands to a kazoo band and more. This is a great day to be enjoyed by everyone.

TURNING POINT AUCTION: Turning Point of Lehigh Valley will host its second annual Virtual Spring Auction during the first full week of March. The auction will be completely online and is scheduled to opened March 6 and close March 13. HOMETOWN HEROES: Embassy Bank invites the community to submit photos of family members, neighbors and friends who have served or are currently serving in the U.S. Armed Forces for the 12th annual “Our Hometown Heroes” display at SteelStacks. Submissions will be accepted beginning March 1 through April 1. The photos will go on display beginning May 28 for Memorial Day weekend through the Fourth of July.
The deadline for photo submission is Friday, April 1. The first 200 photos received will be accepted for the 2022 display. Throughout the past 12 years, more than 1,300 images of local servicemen and women from all branches of the military have been on display in honor of our hometown heroes. Individuals can submit photos two ways, either through ArtsQuest’s website or photos can be dropped off in person at a local Embassy Bank branch or at ArtsQuest’s Banana Factory.
