HAWK MT. Summer camps for kids offered
Hawk Mountain Sanctuary, 1700 Hawk Mountain Road, Kempton, has designed the following summer camps for youth entering first through sixth grades. These weeklong day camps will get kids outdoors, developing a deeper connection with the natural world through fun and educational activities.
Campers can choose one week or join Hawk Mountain Sanctuary for the entire summer.
·Fascinating Creatures for kids in first through third grade July 4-8:
Whether they have fur or feathers, crawl or fly, hop or swim, the wild animals of our world have always captured our imagination.
Discover which animals are the fastest, biggest, or strongest.
·Predators and Prey for kids in fourth through sixth grade July 4-8:
Learn about the ancient relationship between predator and prey.
Discover survival strategies like camouflage, while searching for predators and their prey throughout the Sanctuary.
·Wild Survivors: Session 2 for kids in first through third grade July 11-15:
Learn about the ancient relationship between predator and prey.
Discover survival strategies like camouflage, while searching for predators and their prey throughout the Sanctuary.
·Surviving in the Wild: Session 2 for kids in fourth through sixth grade July 11-15;
Learn about the ancient relationship between predator and prey.

·All Creatures Big and Small for kids in first through third grade July 18-22:
Investigate all types of animals found at the sanctuary, using everything from field guides to bug jars.

·All About Animals for kids in fourth through sixth grade July 18-22:
Learn all about reptiles, amphibians, birds, mammals, fish, insects, and spiders during this week of animal adventures, using professional scientific tools.

·Wild Discoveries for kids in first through third grade July 25-29:
Discover nature in the strangest places.
Campers will see the natural world from different perspectives as they explore the Sanctuary.

·Nature Scene Investigators for kids in fourth through sixth grade July 25-29:
Campers will investigate clues in nature during this week of exploration and sleuthing.
Off-site stream study included this week.
Registration closes two weeks before the start of each camp.
A deposit is due at registration.
Register for four or more weeks and receive a discount off one week.
The remaining balance and all required forms are due two weeks before the start of each camp.
