Northampton Area Public Library: Warmer weather means new activities

Northampton Area Public Library wishes you a very happy St. Patrick’s Day and the most wonderful spring.

As we move into warmer weather, please look forward to more in-person storytimes and events for youth!

Our youngest patrons can still receive a different craft in a bag each week, including “The Lorax,” a rainbow and a handful of daffodils.

Our third- through fifth-grade Book Club, Game Club and STEM Craft Club will begin March 3, 10, and 17, respectively.

Need a house plant/pet that is easy to care for? We’ve got your solution! Grades 2-5 and teens can register to receive their own pet cactus rock kit, and teens can look forward to our virtual MarioKart challenge.

March’s Laid Back Book Club is reading “The Most Fun We Ever Had” by Claire Lombardo.

Register quickly for our aromatherapy candle kit.

There will be a book sale March 16, 17 and 19. March 19 will feature a bag sale. Media will be sold separately.

Join us either in person or virtually for a program on employee rights in the workplace called Essential Workers, Essential Protections March 22. Registration is needed.

Recipe swap and Janice Monahan Rodgers will be back in April.
