Read Across America Week continues at Catasauqua Middle School.
March 3 is read a shirt day. Students should wear a shirt with words.
March 4 is reading jogs the mind day. Students should wear sweatpants or lounge wear.

As of Feb. 24, masks are no longer required on school buses. They are now an “optional tool you may wish to use due to a personal health condition or an increased level of protection from airborne related illness,” according to a Feb. 27 post on the Catasauqua Area School District Facebook page.
This change comes from new guidance from Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Support the CMS eighth-grade class with a bingo event, planned for noon March 5 at American Legion Post 215, 330 Second St., Catasauqua.

The Strengthening Families program continues 5:30-8 p.m. Mondays March 7 and 14.
A free meal is the first part of the program each night.
This is a fun evening for all members of the family. Free child care is available for children under age 10.

School will be closed March 11 for a teacher in-service/Act 80 day.
