Civil War Roundtable of Eastern Pennsylvania will present a lecture titled “Myths and Meaning of the Civil War,” 7:15 p.m. March 1 at Delta Hotels by Marriot (formerly Holiday Inn), 7336 Adrienne Drive, Breinigsville.

Professor Randall Miller with St. Joseph’s University will explain how the war shaped ideas of America as a nation, affected the way people remembered the war, and expanded the scope of what it meant to be a democracy and who belonged in it.

Walk-ins are welcome to attend.
