Monthly bingo has resumed at the Whitehall Active Community Center, 2301 Pine St. The next bingo will be Feb. 27, with doors opening 1 p.m. and bingo beginning 2 p.m. There will also be a tricky tray and a 50/25/25 raffle.

Refreshments will be available for purchase.

A new event - the “piggy” number - has been added. Details will be explained at the bingo game.

During the last special of the day, the overall jackpot is $100.

The Whitehall Active Community Center will host a meet-and-greet event with local police officers noon March 1. The officers will meet with seniors, chat with them and answer any questions.

Come out and meet Whitehall’s finest.

St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church will be having a drive-thru steak sandwich sale March 5.

This order is with or without cheese and includes sauce, onions, pickles and hot peppers, all on the side.

Orders are due by Feb. 28, and pickup will be 4-5:30 p.m. March 5 at the parish hall on Pershing Boulevard.
