Darlene F. Neitz, 71, of Emmaus, died Feb. 17, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of John L. Neitz, with whom she shared 52 years of marriage. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Ellsworth S. and Verna (Helter) Sterner.

She was a member of Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church, Allentown.

Before retiring in 2018, she worked in accounting for Chrysler First and lastly at Sodexo.

She will be remembered for the love she had for her grandson, scenic train rides, shopping and she had a heart of gold and was willing to do anything for her friends.

She is survived by her husband; a daughter Tina M., and her husband, Matt Morgan, of Schnecksville; a grandson. She was predeceased by a brother, Charles Hilbert; sisters, Myrtle Meck and Mary Adler.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Feb. 25 at Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church, 3441 Devonshire Road, Allentown. Calling will begin 10 a.m. Arrangements were made by the Trexler Funeral Home, Inc., Allentown.
