East Allen Township is in need of summer camp counselors.

The camp is planned for 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. June 13-July 29.

Those interested must be entering their senior year of high school and be able to work seven straight weeks with no time off.

Reminder: Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1335 Old Carriage Road, Kreidersville, will be holding a Mardi Gras talent show 4:30-10 p.m. Feb. 26. Dinner begins 5 p.m., followed by the show 6:30 p.m.

Local comic Scott Henninger will act as emcee.

Those planning to attend are asked to bring a covered dish or dessert.

East Allen Township is now taking registrations for its spring soccer season. Boys and girls ages 4 to 15 are eligible.

The spring season runs April 5-June 12.

Lappawinzo Fish and Game Association will not hold its breakfast this month.

It is expected the event, which is open to the public, will resume 8-11 a.m. March 20.

East Allen Township will kick off its food truck Fridays and farmers market May 6. This combined event will run 3:30-6:30 p.m. every Friday at Bicentennial Park West, just off Colony Drive.

There is a fee to participate, and proof of insurance is required.
