Alfred A. Gabriel, 90, of Northampton, died Feb. 15, 2022, at home. He was the husband of Verna (Glose) Gabriel for 71 years.

Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late Alois and Josephine (Kern) Gabriel.

He was a foreman at Bethlehem Steel for many years.

He was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Coplay.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Brenda Ross with Frank, Kathy Stott and Alfred Jr. with Roseann; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Emma Brooks and husband Frank.

He was predeceased by a sister; and a brother.

Contributions may be made to the family for the great-grandchildren’s education.
