Virginia “Ginny” L. Gower, 73, of Allentown and formerly of Schnecksville, died Feb. 3, 2022.

Born in Schuylkill County, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Christine (Burkert) Hornberger.

She was a 1966 graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School and a 1970 graduate of Cedar Crest College.

She was a medical technologist in the blood bank for HNL Health Network Laboratories for more than 30 years.

She is survived by two daughters, Valerie G. Paulik and husband Michael and children Emily and Addison of Allentown and Wendy L. Morrison and husband Thomas and children Andrew and Liam of Churchville; a son, Christopher J. and companion Lori Lambert of Walnutport; a former spouse, Vaughn C. Gower of Bethlehem and his current spouse Robin Flemming; a sister, Nancy Roberts and husband Nicholas of Mechanicsburg; nieces; a nephew; and extended family.

Services will be held 11 a.m. March 12 at the Union Cemetery columbarium, 5550 Route 873, Neffs, 18065.

Contributions may be made to the Cedarbrook Residents Activity Fund, 350 S. Cedarbrook Road, Allentown, 18104.
