Virginia L. “Ginny” Gower, 73, of Allentown, formerly of Schnecksville, died peacefully on Feb. 3, 2022.

Born in Schuylkill County, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Christine (Burkert) Hornberger.

A 1966 graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School, and a 1970 graduate of Cedar Crest College, she was a medical technologist in the Health Network Laboratories blood bank for more than 30 years.

Her survivors include her daughter Valerie G. Paulik of Allentown, her husband, Michael, and their children Emily and Addison; daughter Wendy L. Morrison of Churchville, her husband, Thomas, and their children Andrew and Liam; son Christopher J. Gower of Walnutport, and his companion Lori Lambert; former spouse Vaughn C. Gower of Bethlehem, married to Robin Flemming; sister Nancy Roberts of Mechanicsburg, and her husband, Nicholas; and nieces, nephew and extended family.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. March 12 at the columbarium of Union Cemetery, 5550 Route 873 Neffs, PA 18065.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Cedarbrook Residents Activity Fund, 350 S. Cedarbrook Road, Allentown, PA 18104.
