Robert R. Engler, 82, of Center Valley, died Feb. 10, 2022, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Allentown. He was the husband of the late Barbara G. (Witt) Engler.

He was a son of the late Calvin R. and Marian R. (Link) Engler.

He was a layout operator at the former Western Electric Company, Allentown, for 21 years before retiring in 2001. He was earlier a cutter/engraver for several years at Wentz Memorial Company, Allentown.

He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Blue Church, Coopersburg.

He was a 24-year cleanup/restoration volunteer for the Union-West End Cemetery, Allentown.

He is survived by two sons, Brian R. Sr. and wife Patricia of Allentown and Barry R. and wife Elizabeth of Bethlehem; a daughter, Brenda M. and husband Steve Benko of Northampton; and six grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a grandson, Alan; and a brother, Donald.
