Michael R. Procanyn, 77, of Schnecksville, died peacefully Feb. 5, 2022, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

He and his wife, Joyce E. (Martin) Procanyn, were married 25 years.

Born Feb. 3, 1945, in Northampton, he was the son of the late Michael and Elizabeth (Undush) Procanyn.

He was an independent salesman for numerous furniture stores for many years before retiring.

He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War era.

He was an avid sports enthusiast.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by a son Jared A. Zimmerman (Marcia) of Rincon, Ga.; grandchildren Taylar, Emma, Jasmine and Peter; niece Kelly Beshens; and nephew Roger Beshens.

He was predeceased by siblings William Procanyn and Marilyn Comstock.
