LaRue A. Heiney, 74, of Danielsville, died Feb. 7, 2022, at St. Luke’s, Monroe. She was the wife of Dale A. Heiney for 49 years.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Arlene (Fenstermaker) Geisinger.

She was a 1937 Northampton High School graduate.

She was a personal care aide for a nursing facility.

She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Mickleys, where she was involved in church functions, Scouting and other activities as needed.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Stanley Geisinger and wife Jamie and Donald D. Heiney and wife Theresa; a sister, Claire and husband Paul Keeler; five grandchildren, Samantha, Ashley, Andrew, Lorrell and Drake; and six great-grandchildren, Ryan, Cali, Mia, Ava, Asher and Eli.

She was predeceased by a son, Darryl.

Services are private.
