Egypt/Cementon: Egypt VFW to host live music Feb. 19

Jesse Wade Live will perform 7 p.m. Feb. 19 at Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7293, 5209 Springmill Road, Egypt.

The concert, which is open to the public, is free to VFW members. There is a small cover charge for nonmembers.

Online sign-ups are now available for Egypt Park spring baseball, softball and field hockey programs.

Mark your calendar for the return of the park’s annual Curt Simmons Day and Egypt Park Festival June 4.

Great food, bands, games and rides for the kids, as well as a few new attractions, will be included in this year’s event.

Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 4331 Main St., Egypt, will offer Ash Wednesday services noon and 7 p.m. March 2.

Candles light the night Dec. 24, 2021, around the Taylor Villas development at South Church Street and Cypress Lane for its Luminaria Night. Luminaria Night is a New Bethany Ministries program in which the proceeds are used to “provide meals, financial services and housing to poor, hungry, homeless and mentally ill individuals and families in the Lehigh Valley.”
