Whitehall-Coplay School District will be closed Feb. 18 and 20 in honor of the Presidents Day holiday.

Whitehall High School is again participating in the Giant A Plus Rewards program. Shoppers with a bonus card can register their card, designating the high school as the recipient of points earned when they use their card.

WCSD’s policy on educational trips are limited to seven school days per year. Any days missed for travel beyond the seven days of absence will be illegal days if the student’s age is 16 or younger.

The family educational trip request form, available in the school office, must be submitted to the office prior to departure.

WCSD prefers all trips be scheduled during the holiday break.

The Whitehall High School Class of 1972 is planning its 50th reunion for June 4 and 5.

Festivities will begin 2 p.m. June 4 with a guided tour of the school and campus. After, there will be a happy hour 5-6 p.m. at Coplay Saengerbund, 205 S. Fifth St.

There will be a brunch buffet, scheduled for 11 a.m.-3 p.m. June 5 at Green Pond Country Club, 3604 Farmersville Road, Bethlehem. Optional golf is available.

Members are encouraged to attend the WHS commencement June 6 at PPL Center, 701 Hamilton St., Allentown.
