Catasauqua police responded to these and other calls recently.

JAN. 31

A parking complaint in the 700 block of Second Street was addressed.

Citations were issued for traffic violations during vehicle stops at Second and Union streets and in the 300 block of Second Street.

In the 200 block of Front Street, a hit and run took place.

At Circle Drive and Poplar Street, officers conducted a welfare check.

FEB. 1

A 12-year-old male was cited for disorderly conduct/threatening behavior at Innovative Arts Academy, 330 Howertown Road.

A suspicious item in the street in the unit block of Cambridge Place was investigated.

Citations were filed and a vehicle towed for a traffic violation during a vehicle stop at Second and Race streets.

Police assisted a citizen in the 400 block of Race Street.

The theft of cooking oil at 301 Mulberry St. was investigated.

A disturbance in the 200 block of Church Street had police at the scene. Charges are pending, according to the report.

Suspicious activity in the 800 block of Mulberry Street was addressed.

FEB. 2

On Church Street, department members investigated a complaint regarding abandoned vehicles.

Suspicious activity cases were investigated in the 600 block of Howertown Road and the 500 block of St. John Street.

Officers conducted a welfare check at Church Street and Howertown Road.

A juvenile issue at Catasauqua High School, 2500 W. Bullshead Road, Northampton, had police at the scene.

Domestic disturbances occurred in the 300 block of Church Street and the 600 block of St. John Street. No arrests were made.

FEB. 3

Officers assisted South Whitehall Township police in the unit block of Second Street.

A domestic argument in the 200 block of Edward Lane was reported.

A report regarding possession of marijuana at Innovative Arts Academy, 330 Howertown Road, is under investigation, the department said.

Bathrooms were entered and damaged at Catasauqua Park and Playground, 501 American St.

FEB. 4

Three vehicles were involved in a reportable accident on the Pine Street Bridge.

Police assisted a citizen at Pineapple and School streets.

A parking complaint at Silver Manor, 2 Front St., was addressed.

Suspicious activity in the 100 block of Second Street was reported.

FEB. 6

At Catasauqua Apartments, 118 Bridge St., officers conducted a welfare check.

Police assisted a citizen in the 800 block of Bath Avenue.
