Iris D. Cuevas, 91, of Bethlehem Township, died Feb. 5, 2022. Born in Corozal, Puerto Rico, she was a daughter of the late Rafael Virella and Consuelo Gracia. She was the wife of the late Rafael Cuevas Sr. for 47 years.

She was an active parishioner of Holy Infancy Catholic Church. At the church, she was a member of La Cofradía del Sagrado Corazón de Jesús, Cursillo and Marriage Encounter groups.

She volunteered at church picnics; often with her late husband, a permanent deacon at the church. She was recognized by the Spanish Council for her selflessness and kindness.

She is survived by three sons, Rafael and wife Patricia, Timothy, and Samuel; two daughters, Millie Matos and husband Edwin and Deborah Feliciano and husband Anthony; 10 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two brothers.
