In memory of Joseph T. Gero of Quakertown, a memorial scholarship has been established to support students studying for their Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) license at Lehigh Carbon Community College.

The $10,000 Joseph T. Gero Memorial Scholarship will provide funding to offset the cost of the training.

Gero, who died in May 2021, owned JTG Trucking, Quakertown.

LCCC’s CDL program provides classroom, driving range and on-road training in Class A and Class B. The four-week program prepares students to take the license exam.
