Freedom’s boys swim team put up a fight in last week’s meet against Southern Lehigh before falling to the Spartans, 86-75, at Freedom.
Scoring top points for the Patriots in individual events were first place winners, Luke McClure in the 50 freestyle (24.07), Andrew Ehret in the 100 butterfly (54.91) and the 500 free (5:03.07), and AJ Black in the 100 breaststroke (1:11.85).
McClure, Ehret, Black, and Ryan Rummel won the 200 medley relay (1:45.52) and the 200 free relay (1:37.76)
Black won second-place points in the 200 IM (2:28.71) along with Rummel in the 50 free (24.57) and the 100 free (56.36), McClure in the 100 fly (57.51), and the 400 free relay foursome of Rohit Chinnawer, Jayden-Kylem Coley, Somak Roy, and Aadam Ameerally.
Lilly Anderson was the Patriot girls only first-place winner in the 100 backstroke (1:10.10) in Freedom’s girls loss to Solehi, 120-50.
Alexia Ragab came in second in the 100 breast (1:17.78), and Aliah Corrado was third in the same event (1:19.72).
Corrado was also third in the 100 fly (1:08.84), and Ragab was third in the 500 free (6:09.21).
Sofia Nabyt came in third in the 200 IM (2:35.10), and Deb Belen sprinted to third place in the 50 free (27.01) and the 100 free (1:01.35).
Anderson, Ragab, Corrado, and Belen took second place in the 200 free relay (1:49.73).
