Teresa M. Mondschein, 97, of Coplay, died Jan. 29, 2022. She was the wife of the late William A. Mondschein.
Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa (Zsampar) Zsigovits.
She was a seaman first class in the U.S. Navy during World War II, stationed in Corpus Christi, Texas.
She was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Coplay, and was in the Altar and Rosary Society.
She was involved with Coplay community sports and was active in her community. She was a member of American Legion Post 426, Coplay. She was as a Cub Scout leader.
She is survived by seven sons, William F. and his wife Debra, Thomas J. and his wife Sharon, David J. and his companion Joanne, Jeffrey S. and his wife Melanie, Matthew C. Sr. and his wife Melissa, Charles J. and his wife Dani and Scott R. and his wife Corinne; four daughters, Judith A. Heffner, Lisa A. Spangler and her companion Dr. Steve Corbett, Lori A. and her husband Michael Hawk and Janet L. and her husband Claude Williams; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a son, Gerard J. Mondschein; a son-in-law, Professor Donald Stinner; and siblings.
