Kermit W. Wenzel, 88, originally from Whitehall, died Jan. 30, 2022, at Lutheran Meadows, Topton. He was the husband of the late Yvonne A. Wenzel for 59 years.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late William and Mollie Wenzel.

He was a William Allen High School graduate. He earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Kutztown University.

He was an U.S. Air Force veteran and served during the Korean conflict.

He was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Coplay.

He is survived by three children, Terri and her husband Robert Dougherty of Nazareth, Simone and her husband Kevin Yanders of Germansville and Stephen and his wife Jennifer of Blandon; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Holly S. Siegfried.
