Irene C. Stranzl, 89, of Coplay, died Feb. 1, 2022, at Fellowship Manor, Whitehall. She was the wife of the late Adolf Stranzl.

Born in Whitehall, she was a daughter of the late John and Cecelia (Yost) Wechsler.

She was a seamstress at Northampton Dress and Tama Manufacturing.

She was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Coplay.

She was an active member with the Coplay Seniors, Northampton Seniors, Young at Heart and the Coplay Saengerbund.

She is survived by two daughters, Linda Boandl and her husband David and Nancy Bock and her husband Richard; seven grandchildren, Amy, Courtney, Kimberly, Joshua, Kyle, Bradley and Brittany; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, Kathleen; and a brother, Ronnie.

She was predeceased by two brothers, Eddie and John.
