Helen T. Paul, 96, of Northampton, died Feb. 3, 2022, at home. She was the wife of the late Edward E. Paul for 49 years.
Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late John and Anna (Kopfensteiner) Yurasits.
She worked at the former Cement National Bank and at Bridesburg Foundry for many years.
She was a member of Queenship of Mary Church and its former Our Lady of Hungary choir.
She was active with the Catholic War Veterans and the Veterans of Foreign Wars ladies auxiliaries. She performed in Catholic War recitals and ethnic dance shows. She played softball for St. John Capistrano where she was nicknamed “Dusty.”
She is survived by a daughter, Karen and her husband Stephen Gabryluk; two granddaughters, Tara Martino and Leah Gabryluk and her husband Gabriel Melendez; five great-grandsons, Niko, Alek, Cyrus, Paxton and Enzo; a sister, Theresa Erkinger; and a brother, John Yurasits and his wife Mary.
She was predeceased by a sister, Ann Stimpfl.
