Fullerton: Church collects donations
St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, 618 Fullerton Ave., will be having a Souper Bowl weekend Feb. 12 and 13.
Girl Scout Troop 63403 will be collecting at the exits of the church after all the Masses. Half of the proceeds will go to the Allentown Diocese’s Chew Street soup kitchen and half to the troop to help pay for Scout expenses, activities and trips.

St. Elizabeth’s will have an all-you-can-eat breakfast 8:30-11:30 a.m. Feb. 13 in the parish hall.
Come and fill up on your favorites - bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, home fries, pancakes, Danish, juice and coffee.
All are welcome.

The Whitehall Active Community Center, 2301 Pine St., will be hosting a Lunch with Cupid event Feb. 14 to celebrate St. Valentine’s Day, beginning 10:30 a.m.
This will be a free meal with fun activities.
Those planning to attend are asked to register ahead of time by calling 610-443-0675 and to bring a nonperishable food item to be donated to Whitehall Food Pantry.
Come celebrate St. Valentine’s Day - and wear red.

At the Whitehall Active Community Center, a movie afternoon is planned for Feb. 22. The movie begins 12:30 p.m. after lunch.
To keep the theme of Presidents Day, the movie “Air Force One,” starring Harrison Ford and Glenn Close, will be shown.
If you are interested in having lunch, call 610-443-0675 the morning before.
The movie is free with a donation for refreshments.

The Lady PEEPS women’s group of St. John’s United Church of Christ, 575 Grape St., will meet 6:30 p.m. Feb. 22 in Fox Hall. Some of the confirmands will be there to learn more about the church history and those who have built it. It’s also a chance for the confirmands and PEEPS to get to know each other.
