Diane M. Newhart, 74, of Catasauqua, died Jan. 31, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Earl T. Newhart Jr.

Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of the late William E. Sr. and Helen M. (German) Strohl.

She was a member of Salem United Church of Christ, Catasauqua.

She is survived by a daughter, Patricia A. with Kelly Snyder of Catasauqua; a son, Thomas E. with Crystal of Bath; a brother, William E. Strohl Jr. with Pat of Cherryville; two sisters, Dolores with Allen Scheetz Sr. of Bath and Ruth Ann with Jack Heffelfinger of Walnutport; and five grandchildren, Brandon, Destiny, Tyler, Timothy and Cody.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Tina M. Landis.
