Lebanon Valley College

Kroboth earns dean’s list

Jessica Kroboth, of Whitehall, is one of more than 800 Lebanon Valley College students named to the dean’s list for the fall 2021 semester. Dean’s list students must maintain a GPA of at least 3.4 out of 4.0. Kroboth is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in exercise science at The Valley and is a graduate of Whitehall High School.

For four consecutive years (2018-2021), Lebanon Valley College has been listed as No. 1 in Pennsylvania for graduate job placement by the career guidance site Zippia.com, using federal data. Lebanon Valley College offers more than 50 undergraduate majors and graduate degrees in accounting/MBA (3+1), applied kinesiology, athletic training, business administration, clinical exercise physiology, clinical mental health counseling, education, intelligence and security studies, music education, speech-language pathology, sport performance, STEM education and numerous graduate certificates. The college employs 122 full-time faculty members; of the permanent faculty, 83 percent have Ph.D. or equivalent terminal degrees. The student-faculty ratio is 12:1, with an average class size of 20. These numbers reflect the college’s commitment to student-centered curricula, individualized attention and immersive learning experiences.

President’s list is announced

Southern New Hampshire University congratulates the following students on being named to the fall 2021 president’s list. Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum GPA of 3.7 and above are named to the president’s list. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits. Undergraduate day students must earn 12 credits in the fall or spring semester. Online students must earn 12 credits in either EW1 and EW2, EW3 and EW4 or EW5 and EW6.

Tabitha McIlhaney, of Catasauqua, and Nicole O’Neill, of Whitehall, have been named to Southern New Hampshire University’s fall 2021 dean’s list. Full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum GPA of 3.5 to 3.699 are named to the dean’s list. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits. Undergraduate day students must earn 12 credits in the fall or spring semester. Online students must earn 12 credits in either EW1 and EW2, EW3 and EW4 or EW5 and EW6.

DeSales University, in Center Valley, is a private, coeducational, four-year liberal arts Salesian, Catholic university, under the leadership of the Oblates of Saint Francis de Sales. Founded in 1965, the 550-acre suburban campus is located 50 miles north of Philadelphia and about 90 miles southwest of New York City. A total enrollment of nearly 3,500 includes undergraduate day and evening students and graduate students.

DeSales has approximately 135 full-time faculty members and offers more than 40 bachelor’s degrees, 12 graduate programs, and more than 20 certificate programs in a wide range of disciplines. Many of these can be completed fully online.

Bucknell University

Dean’s list is announced

Bucknell University has released the dean’s list for outstanding academic achievement during the fall semester of the 2021-22 academic year. A student must earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0 to receive dean’s list recognition.

McCloskey named to dean’s list

Madison McCloskey, of Catasauqua, has been named to the University of Delaware’s dean’s list for the fall 2021 semester. To meet eligibility requirements for the dean’s list, a student must be enrolled full time and earn a GPA of 3.5 or above (on a 4.0 scale) for the semester.
