Harold “Buddy” L. Held Jr., 78, formerly of Bethlehem, died peacefully on Jan. 27, 2022. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Harold Held Sr. and Mae (Snyder) Held.

He worked at Homer Research Center for the Bethlehem Steel for 15 years. He then was a custodian for the Bethlehem Area School District for seven years.

He is survived by two daughters Aimee and Nicole; and two sisters, Peggy Tumpey and her husband Jim of Bethlehem and Carole Hontz and her late husband Bill of Bath.

He was predeceased by a sister, Sandra Harris.
