Another Day

Every day that I awake,

I thank the Lord above,

For giving me another day,

To spread my joy and love.

I’m grateful for the life I have.

I try my very best,

to be the kind of person

That will put my mind at rest.

I am a peaceful person.

I don’t like arguments.

But, if a squabble happens,

I try to make amends.

I try to do what’s right in life.

We are not here for long.

So look for joy and happiness

And try to get along.

Love your friends and neighbors.

Be happy you are here.

Enjoy the years that lie ahead.

Fill your life with cheer.

If we all do what we should in life,

As we go along our way,

We just might find that there will always be
