The Northampton swim team welcomed East Stroudsburg North High School February 1st. At this final home meet of the season, Northampton honored their six senior swimmers and claimed a win for the boys and girls by scores of 97-66 and 128-38, respectively.

Always an exciting and emotional night, Senior’s Night included future plans and memories shared by each swimmer.

She notes her qualification for states in 2020 as one of her best personal memories from her 4 years on the team and memories with swimmers from past graduating classes as some of her favorite experiences. In Tuesday’s meet, Szerencsits claimed first in the 500 freestyle event (5:22:56) and first in the 100 backstroke (1:05.63).

Senior Hannah Nolan will attend NACC in the fall and noted that the best part of her high school swimming career were the friends she met and the memories she made outside of the pool. Nolan placed second in the 500 freestyle with a time of 7:13.84.
