Burglary

An unknown person entered a residence in the 1600 block of Victoria Circle and removed several pieces of jewelry with an approximate value of $1,000, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Dec. 28, 2021 and remains under investigation.

Aggravated assault

Steven Joseph Sward, 33, of Kutztown, was charged Dec. 27, 2021, with alleged aggravated assault and simple assault following an incident at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest campus, according to Salisbury police.

Bashere Hardy, 28, of Allentown, was charged Dec. 27, 2021, with alleged aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment, following an incident at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest campus, according to Salisbury police.

Simple assault

Tyler Owens, 32, of Doylestown, was charged Dec. 20, 2021, with alleged simple assault, simple possession, harassment and criminal mischief following an incident in the 2000 block of South Bradford Street, according to Salisbury police.

DUI

Vincent Michael Mondello, 31, of Easton, was charged Dec. 19, 2021, with allegedly driving under the influence and related traffic offenses following a traffic stop on Interstate 78 eastbound in Salisbury Township, according to Salisbury police.

Possession

A 33-year-old male, of Allentown, was charged Dec. 19, 2021, with alleged possession of a small amount of marijuana following an incident at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest campus, according to Salisbury police.

Possession of drug paraphernalia

Tracy Lee McCurdy, 41, of Tamaqua, was charged Dec. 22, 2021, with alleged possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while operating privilege is suspended and general lighting requirements following a traffic stop on Interstate 78 eastbound, Salisbury Township, according to Salisbury police.

Theft

A wallet and its contents were removed from Rittenhouse Village at Lehigh Valley, 1263 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Dec. 21, 2021 and remains under investigation.

A basketball rim and backboard were removed from a location in the 1800 block of East Emmaus Avenue, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Dec. 26, 2021 and remains under investigation.

Criminal mischief

Pry marks were found on the top of a vehicle door after the vehicle was parked in the 1800 block of East Emmaus Avenue, according to Salisbury Police. The incident was reported Dec. 19, 2021 and remains under investigation.

A vehicle window was shot out while it was parked in the 400 block of East Lynnwood Street, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Dec. 24, 2021 and remains under investigation.

The driver’s side doors of a vehicle were scratched while it was parked in the 2800 block of Green Acres Drive, according to Salisbury police. The incident was reported Dec. 27, 2021 and remains under investigation.
