Ruthann J. Rittle, 73, of Fullerton, died Jan. 19, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was the wife of Edward A. Rittle for 52 years.

Born in Coaldale Township, she was a daughter of the late Roger R. Strohl and Frances J. (Snyder) Deganich.

She worked for 22 years at Bon-Ton Distribution Center. Earlier, she was part of the wait staff at Hess’s Patio, Bud’s Steakhouse and Chub’s Pub.

She was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, Whitehall.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Edward G. and his wife Christine of Germansville; a daughter, Kelly M. and her husband Michael Buskirk of Slatington; four grandchildren, Samantha and Jake Rittle and Nicklaus and Brayden Buskirk; two sisters, Kay Shiffert of Spring Hill, Fla., and Carolyn Graver of Lehighton; two brothers, Roger Strohl Jr. and his wife Ann of Glendale, Ariz., and Richard Strohl and his wife Patricia of Lehighton; nieces; and nephews.

She was predeceased by a sister, Donna Stremensky.

There will be a calling hour 9 a.m., followed by a memorial Mass 10 a.m., Feb. 7 at the church, 618 Fullerton Ave., Whitehall.
