Any Catasauqua High School junior interested in applying for membership in the National Honor Society must submit a completed application to Mr. Gruver no later than Feb. 4.

The last day to submit your application for Lehigh Career & Technical Institute’s animal sciences program for the 2022-23 school year is Feb. 11.

The program is designed for high school seniors interested in animal science and veterinary medicine and allows students the opportunity to explore careers in both fields firsthand. In addition, the program is designed to prepare students for postsecondary education by offering college science courses.

Remember, this is a seniors-only program. Students not slated to graduate with the Class of 2023 are not eligible for enrollment.

The special education parent training series for the 2021-22 school year, offered by Catasauqua Area School District, will continue Feb. 23 with the third of four separate trainings, titled “Reading/Math Strategies.”

All sessions will take place 6-7:30 p.m. at the district administration office, 201 N. 14th St.
