Patricia Ann Lobus, 75, of Allentown, died Jan. 21, 2022. She was the wife of Ronald Lobus for 53 years.

Born in North Catasauqua, she was a daughter of the late Francis and Elizabeth (Martin) O’Mara.

She was a Catasauqua High School graduate, where she was a cheerleader and a drama club member. She earned a degree in elementary education from Bloomsburg University. She earned a master’s degree in remedial reading from Kutztown University.

She taught in the Allentown School District. She was a reading specialist and the director of the Title 1 Federal Reading Program for the Brandywine Heights Area School District.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Megan Soltys with Andrew of Warrington; two grandchildren, Drew and Emma; a sister, Margaret O’Donnell with Charles; two sisters-in-law, Dolores O’Mara and Sandra DeLong with Richard; nieces; and nephews.

She was predeceased by two brothers, Francis O’Mara and James P. O’Mara; a sister, Jean Garger; and a sister-in-law, Angela O’Mara.
