Larry P. Mouer, 81, of Allen Township, died Jan. 20, 2022. He was the husband of Catherine (Kucharczuk) for 58 years.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Lester and Dorothy (Petry) Mouer.
He was an Allen High School graduate.
He worked in the composing room at Bethlehem Globe and as a supervisor for The Morning Call until he retired after 40 years. He was a partner of K&M Properties. He was a president and owner of Yesteryear Properties. He was a vice president of Yesteryear Collectibles.
He was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society.
He was a member of the Historic Catasauqua Preservation Association and the Central Catholic Class of 1959 Reunion Committee for several years. He and his wife volunteered with VIABL, where they were named Volunteers of the Year in 2005.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Jeffrey and his wife Kelly and Christopher; a daughter, Deborah Shupe and her husband David; five grandchildren, Emily, Zachary, Paul, Madison and Cole; nieces; and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, Ronald.
There will be a Mass of Christian burial 10:30 a.m. Feb. 18 at the church, 4 S. Fifth St., Coplay. Please wear a face cover, and practice social distancing.
