Irene Sheckler, 95, of Northampton, died Jan. 27, 2022, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. She was the wife of the late Kenneth W. Sheckler.

Born in Catasauqua, she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Catherine (Youngkoski) Gaczor.

She was a hairdresser and owned a beauty shop in Northampton for many years.

She was a member of Queenship of Mary Church, Northampton.

She is survived by a son, Gregory A. and his wife Marianne; a grandson, Rodney Sheckler; a great-grandson, Nicholas Sheckler; three sisters, Wanda Erdosy, Jean Kotrosits and Catherine Tapler; nieces; and nephews.

She was predeceased by a sister, Helen Sodl.
